Job Requirements

  • Valid Class B driver’s license
  • Valid Medical Examiner’s Card
  • Hazmat and Airbrake certifications or willingness to obtain
  • One year of recent Class B professional driving experience
  • Clean driving record as per company standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be 21 years or older

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class B driver’s license
  • Valid Medical Examiner’s Card
  • Hazmat and Airbrake certifications or ability to acquire as condition of employment
  • Minimum one year of Class B professional driving experience within last five years
  • Clean driving record with no more than two convictions or accidents as specified
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Touch freight delivery experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old

Job Duties

  • Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
  • Collect empty cylinders from customers and return to plant or branch for refilling
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring safety and compliance
  • Maintain load manifests and ensure proper completion and reconciliation of vehicle documents
  • Communicate timely with managers and sales associates regarding customer issues or delivery changes
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations by addressing customer inquiries promptly
  • Assist in warehouse or dock operations as needed
