Job Requirements
- Valid Class A driver’s license
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Card
- Hazmat and Airbrake certifications or ability to acquire certifications as condition of employment
- One year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five years with clean driving record or equivalent combination of convictions and accidents
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- May consider accredited driving school diploma or combination of driving and prior Airgas experience
- Must be at least 21 years or older
Job Qualifications

- Hazmat and Airbrake certifications or ability to acquire them
- One year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five years
- Clean driving record within specified limits
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to operate newer well-maintained equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Operate a Class A Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- Collect empty cylinders from customers for return to plant or branch for refilling
- Address customer inquiries and provide timely communication to managers or sales associates
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks ensuring safety compliance and noting any issues
- Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Establish and maintain good customer relations
- Assist in warehouse or dock operations as needed
