Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Class A CDL license at hire
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Successfully pass a drug test including marijuana
- Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
- Registered with Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with electronic consent
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license at hire
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs during the shift
- Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Clean driving record meeting DOT and company standards
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Ability to pass drug test and background check
Job Duties
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver food products to customer locations
- Unload cases weighing up to 100 lbs using ramps and two-wheel carts
- Build strong relationships with customers including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities
- Follow all safety and DOT regulations including drug and alcohol policies
- Accurately complete required paperwork and maintain logs
- Communicate effectively by reading and interpreting labels, pick lists, scanners, and signage
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery routes with attention to detail and customer service
