Job Requirements
- Valid Class A driver’s license
- Valid medical examiner’s card
- Hazmat and airbrake certifications or ability to acquire
- Minimum one year of Class A professional driving experience within last five years
- Clean driving record with limited convictions and at-fault accidents
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 21 years or older

- At least one year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five years with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Diploma from accredited driving school or combined driving and Airgas experience considered
- Must be at least 21 years or older
Job Duties
- Operate a Class A Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- Collect empty cylinders from customers and return them to plant or branch locations for refilling
- Address customer inquiries and maintain excellent customer relations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations
- Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Ensure vehicle manifests, placards, cylinder labeling, and load nesting and strapping meet safety standards
- Work in warehouse or dock as needed
