Job Requirements
- honest and caring demeanor
- clean motor vehicle record with two or less moving violations within past three years
- obtain and maintain a dot physical card
- own hand tools
- work closely with a partner for deliveries
- ability to apply new technologies including Dispatch Track and iPad
- ability to work 5-6 days per week including early start times
- ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 10 or more hours daily
- ability to safely lift, lower, push, pull merchandise frequently weighing up to 100 lbs and handle up to 250 lbs
- pass pre-employment drug screen
- pass pre-employment background check
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid driver’s license
- clean motor vehicle record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years
- ability to learn and use new technology such as Dispatch Track and iPad
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs frequently and manipulate up to 250 lbs
Job Duties
- deliver merchandise to customers homes
- assemble furniture accurately and efficiently
- disassemble furniture when necessary
- remove old merchandise from customer homes
- provide white glove service and demonstrate product usage
- explain company policies and procedures to customers
- safely load and unload delivery truck
