Job Requirements
- Must be honest and caring
- clean motor vehicle record with two or fewer moving violations within the past three years
- obtain and maintain a D.O.T. physical card
- own necessary hand tools
- work closely with a delivery partner
- able to learn and apply new technologies such as Dispatch Track and iPad
- able to work five to six days per week including early mornings
- able to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 100 pounds frequently and manipulating up to 250 pounds
- pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- able to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- work safely in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- ability to obtain and maintain D.O.T. physical card
- experience in furniture delivery or similar field preferred
- proficiency with mobile technology and delivery tracking software
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Deliver furniture and merchandise to customers approximately and efficiently
- assemble, disassemble, and remove furniture as required
- provide white glove customer service by explaining product use and company policies
- safely load and unload furniture from delivery trucks
- collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- maintain cleanliness and safety protocols while working
- utilize technology such as Dispatch Track and iPad for delivery management
