Job Requirements
- honest and caring attitude
- clean motor vehicle record with two or fewer moving violations in the past three years
- obtain and maintain a D.O.T. physical card
- must own hand tools
- ability to work closely with a partner
- ability to learn and apply new technologies including Dispatch Track and iPad
- physical ability to lift up to 250 pounds frequently
- ability to work 5-6 days per week including busy seasons
- pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- ability to navigate confined spaces such as stairways, hallways, and elevators
- capacity to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for ten or more hours daily
- ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- ability to obtain and maintain a D.O.T. physical card
- proficiency in using technology such as Dispatch Track and iPad
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- experience in furniture assembly or delivery preferred but not required
Job Duties
- deliver furniture and merchandise to customers' homes
- assemble and disassemble furniture accurately and efficiently
- remove merchandise from customers' homes when required
- provide white-glove service by demonstrating product usage and explaining policies
- safely load and unload furniture from delivery trucks
- collaborate with delivery partners and other departments to optimize service and efficiency
- communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors
