Job Requirements
- Hold a Class A or B California driver’s license
- Have 12 months verifiable recent box truck delivery experience (within last 3 years)
- Provide valid DOT medical certificate
- Possess airbrakes endorsement
- Demonstrate consistent work history
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must not include rideshare or bus driving experience (e.g., Uber, Lyft, DoorDash)
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B California driver’s license with airbrakes endorsement
- 12 months verifiable box truck delivery experience within last 3 years
- Valid DOT medical certificate
- Forklift experience preferred
- Consistent work history
- Ability to assist with offloading and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow safety procedures and health codes
Job Duties
- Drive a 24-foot or smaller truck for food bank deliveries in Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside counties
- Provide initial contact with food donors and complete donor receipts
- Load and unload food products at the food bank and various sites
- Weigh, store, package, label, sort, and shelve food items following health codes and safety practices
- Participate in direct food distribution to low-income participants
- Operate forklifts and manual equipment for moving heavy objects
- Assist in vehicle maintenance and warehouse housekeeping including cleaning and disposal tasks
- Work with partner agencies, volunteers, donors, and participants
- May direct volunteers' work at the food bank
