Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least one year of local driving experience with refrigerated trailers
- Clean driving record with no major violations and no more than one at-fault accident in three years
- Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations and temperature control
- Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks
- Good communication skills
- Professional and reliable work ethic
- Compliant dress code including work boots and long pants
- Ability to pass a road test prior to employment
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum one year of experience operating a 53-foot refrigerated trailer
- Experience with reefer temperature control and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using manual and electric pallet jacks
- Strong communication skills with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to maintain punctuality and adhere to safety standards
Job Duties
- Drive local routes across Palmdale, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and the Inland Empire
- Deliver consistent reefer loads to retail stores and distribution centers
- Make 1 to 3 stops per day following a predictable route
- Operate manual or electric pallet jacks to reposition pallets within trailers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain cleanliness and professionalism of equipment
- Accurately complete all necessary delivery paperwork
- Adapt to occasional changes in routes or schedules due to operational needs
