Job Requirements
- A valid CDL-A and 3+ months of current experience are required
- this lane is not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees
- must be 21 years or older
- must be able to pass a DOT drug screen
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- minimum three months of recent driving experience
- knowledge of DOT regulations
- ability to safely secure loads
- strong time management skills
- reliable transportation to the brewery
- ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Drive dedicated local routes between the brewery and suppliers within 250 miles of Van Nuys
- ensure the load is legal and in good condition
- strap down pallets securely in the trailer
- operate no-touch freight with minimal physical handling
- maintain company trucks with automatic transmissions and new equipment
- adhere to all DOT safety and compliance regulations
- report daily to the Van Nuys base and complete routes with daily home time
