Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid commercial driver’s license
- minimum of 2 years driving experience
- ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- ability to work a 5-day weekday schedule
- physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- willingness to adhere to all safety policies and company guidelines
Job Qualifications
- valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- clean driving record
- previous commercial driving experience preferred
- strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to lift and move heavy items occasionally
- basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles
Job Duties
- deliver automotive parts and supplies to various locations along assigned routes
- ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations
- maintain cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries
- document delivery activities accurately and timely
- follow company policies and procedures regarding handling and delivery of freight
