Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience working as an executive chef or in a similar culinary role
  • Culinary school degree preferred
  • ServSafe Manager certification required
  • Strong understanding of nutrition dietary requirements and local cuisine
  • Experience in fine dining environments preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including long shifts during busy season
  • Strong computer skills including email communication and Zoom proficiency
  • Ability to maintain professionalism confidentiality and discretion in high-pressure settings

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or similar role preferably in a high-pressure luxury catering environment
  • Culinary school degree preferred
  • ServSafe Manager certification required
  • Experience in fine dining preferred
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements
  • Strong understanding of local cuisine and regional culinary traditions
  • Strong eye for presentation and aesthetic display
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for sustainability and local sourcing
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work long hours during peak season and maintain flexibility

Job Duties

  • Design and execute diverse seasonally-inspired menus prioritizing local ingredients and nutritional value
  • Implement and maintain eco-friendly practices including recycling composting and responsible sourcing
  • Work closely with A-level artists and their teams maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • Manage multiple shows per week during busy season ensuring meticulous organization of catering logistics including planning shopping and prepping for dressing rooms bus stock and hospitality riders
  • Strictly adhere to all dietary restrictions outlined by touring artists ensuring nutritious protein-dense options are integrated
  • Adhere to strict tour budgets regarding food and labor costs providing daily show reporting for financial accountability
  • Communicate effectively with tour and production managers to align on catering needs preferences and special requests
  • Participate as a working chef during busy season and focus on planning preparation in off-season
  • Respond promptly to emails and utilize Zoom for weekly calls
