Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of food service or hospitality industry experience preferred
- Basic math skills required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English preferred
- Ability to work under high-pressure environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends

Job Duties
- Apply thorough knowledge, understanding and application of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu items
- Monitor all meals being served for appearance, quality standards, portion control and temperature standards in accordance with the established policies and procedures
- Ensure all stations are properly set prior to service and ensure sufficient supply of high-quality mis-en-place is set for the next shift
- Support a culture of safety by upholding safety standards and reporting injuries on time
- Safely use all kitchen equipment and apply advanced knife skills
- Assist the Chef and Sous Chef in controlling food and labor costs, purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of all kitchen items
- Ensure meal and rest breaks are made available to team members and accurately record time
- Assist in establishing proper par levels of finished products and ingredients and conduct inventories
- Properly label, date, rotate and store all products to ensure food handling, maximum shelf life and sanitation compliance
- Ensure production and merchandising areas are clean, safe and presentable
- Effectively communicate with management and assist with guests' and team members' needs and inquiries to satisfaction
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to accurately enter guest information and complete sales
- Bag orders efficiently and neatly preserving item integrity and presentation
- Set the tone for the shift and assume responsibility for shift results
- Secure the building at closing by locking the safe, all doors and setting the alarm
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
