Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Friendly, energetic, and highly motivated
- Previous cooking experience preferred but not required
- Ability to learn and follow recipes precisely
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Learns all wok recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung's procedures
- Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
- Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung's recipes
- Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung's plating guidelines
- Prepares and cuts garnishes for wok line items
- Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
- Attends monthly staff meetings and wok meetings
