Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Learn all wok recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
- Check the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
- Cook the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
- Plate the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
- Prepare and cut garnishes for wok line items
- Label all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
- Attend monthly staff meetings and wok meetings
