Job Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
  • Detect and identify safety issues and comply with safety guidelines and standards
  • Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
  • Lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs to reconfigure seating arrangements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Basic culinary skills and knife handling proficiency
  • Willingness to learn and take direction

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Ensure proper food safety and sanitation compliance
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and timely delivery
  • Assist with inventory control and restocking supplies
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adapt quickly to changing kitchen demands and maintain composure under pressure
