Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred but not required
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and cooking procedures

  • ability to handle physically demanding tasks

Job Duties

  • Learns all noodle recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
  • checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
  • cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
  • plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
  • prepares and cuts garnishes for noodle line items
  • labels all items in accordance with health department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
  • attends monthly staff meetings and noodle meetings
