Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous culinary experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Ability to operate various kitchen machinery safely
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role
- Ability to follow culinary instructions and lead kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Proficiency in food presentation and decorative techniques
- Experience operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, stoves, grinders, and mixers
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Assist Chef and Sous Chef with culinary instructions and lead kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation
- Prepare and cook foods of all types regularly or for special guests and functions
- Determine food presentation and create decorative food displays
- Operate food station including performing station checklist, temperature log, counter meeting, and signage
- Requisition food supplies, kitchen equipment, and appliances based on estimates of future needs
- Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance as an essential function of the job
