Job Requirements
- Specialized or technical training
- 3 years of relevant culinary experience including at least six months in a comparable role
- Culinary school certificate or diploma from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of all kitchen equipment
- Experience in restaurant and catering or special event cooking
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Experience working in fast-paced kitchen settings
- Knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques
- Effective English communication skills
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications
- Specialized or technical training

- Culinary school certificate or diploma from an accredited culinary arts and management school
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, both small and large scale
- Experience with restaurant and catering/special event cooking
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Familiarity with classical and modern cooking techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Knowledge of standard food handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- Provide customer services to faculty, staff, students, and guests
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction without unnecessary referrals
- Maintain friendly, helpful demeanor
- Provide timely options for specialty diets or dietary restrictions
- Measure, cut, and mix ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions
- Cook and prepare food to meet quality, quantity, appearance, and temperature standards
- Maximize utilization of food goods to reduce waste, spoilage, and pilferage
- Prepare food items for a la carte and special events according to recipe specifications
- Adhere to kitchen sanitation programs and standard food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen facilities, stations, tools, and equipment
- Provide guidance and direction to culinary and kitchen staff
- Attend all required culinary trainings
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
