Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience cooking in a restaurant environment preferred
  • Must complete Serve-Safe program after hire
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a scratch kitchen
  • Strong verbal communication skills and customer service-related skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the general public
  • Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and persuasively using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Ability to perform work with high degree of accuracy and organization
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prepares food according to standardized recipes
  • Adheres to portion and preparation guidelines for cost effectiveness
  • Reviews and adheres to scheduled work hours
  • Complies with health department codes and regulations
