Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- previous experience cooking in a restaurant environment preferred
- must complete serve-safe program after hire
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work in a scratch kitchen
- strong verbal communication skills and customer service-related skills
- ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders including employees and the general public
- ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and persuasively using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation with ability to communicate one-on-one or in group settings
- ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization
- ability to work cooperatively with others
- ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative

Job Duties
- prepares quality food according to standardized recipes
- maintains a clean, safe facility that falls in line with local health department regulations
- adheres to portions and preparation guidelines for cost effectiveness
- takes care of guests needs and food orders/specifications with immediacy and accuracy
- reviews and adheres to schedule
- ensures compliance with health department codes and regulations
- maintains regular and predictable attendance with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
