Job Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position preferably in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Effective verbal communication skills and ability to read tickets
  • Ability to be on your feet for a full shift including use of stairs
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
  • Working knowledge of basic kitchen cooking and prepping terminology
  • Basic kitchen knife skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to company quality and service standards
  • Coordinate orders to ensure timely and accurate preparation
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items and ingredients
  • Ensure food temperatures are appropriate for menu items
  • Follow all company safety and sanitation standards
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and Manager on Duty
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
