Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience with high volume cooking or grilling preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and prep sheets accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Physical stamina to stand and work for extended hours
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a high-volume cooking or grilling environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of meat cooking and seasoning techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare steaks and other grilled items following Texas Roadhouse’s seasoning and cooking standards
  • Monitor and maintain proper cooking temperatures for all grilled meats
  • Ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed in the kitchen
  • Operate and maintain grilling and other kitchen equipment according to prep sheets and company policies
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service team members to provide efficient and quality food service
  • Manage high volume food preparation effectively during peak hours
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
