Job Requirements

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
  • ability to retain menu recipe knowledge
  • flexible schedule
  • ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, smoke, steam, and frequent contact with sanitation solutions and food products
  • capability to learn and prepare all menu items to WOB standards
  • compliance with all local food safety laws

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in kitchen roles including food preparation, line cook, or fry cook
  • ability to work well in fast-paced and high-energy environments
  • strong teamwork skills
  • clear and effective communication skills
  • food handler certification within 30 days of hire or as required by law

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to WOB recipes and portioning standards
  • follow the prep list created by kitchen management
  • label and stock ingredients for organization and accessibility
  • set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • ensure proper storage of food and station items
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • work efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely dish preparation
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
