Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a cooking role preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • capacity to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to follow directions accurately
  • physical capability to lift and carry heavy items
  • commitment to maintaining kitchen cleanliness and order

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred
  • knowledge of standard cooking methods, kitchen equipment and food safety standards
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Complete opening and closing checklists
  • refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties
  • use our Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products
  • prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
  • understand and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • handle, store and rotate all products properly according to health and safety standards
  • maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
  • cook all food product to temperature as needed for guest
  • clean and properly wash all used dishes as needed using "clean as you go" standards
  • close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • assist others in closing the kitchen
  • perform other related duties as assigned by manager-on-duty
