Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a cooking role preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- capacity to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to follow directions accurately
- physical capability to lift and carry heavy items
- commitment to maintaining kitchen cleanliness and order

- previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred
- knowledge of standard cooking methods, kitchen equipment and food safety standards
- ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Complete opening and closing checklists
- refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties
- use our Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products
- prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
- understand and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
- handle, store and rotate all products properly according to health and safety standards
- maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- cook all food product to temperature as needed for guest
- clean and properly wash all used dishes as needed using "clean as you go" standards
- close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- assist others in closing the kitchen
- perform other related duties as assigned by manager-on-duty
