Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- culinary school diploma
- prior experience as line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
- ability to work in high volume environment
- strong attention to detail
- capability to follow instructions from chefs
- ability to work no less than 32 hours per week
- willingness to work in person
Job Qualifications
- Proven cooking experience including line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook
- excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- speed and accuracy in executing tasks
- familiar with industry best practices
- culinary school diploma
Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- prepare food for service including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces
- cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
- follow instructions from executive or sous chef
- clean up station and manage leftover food
- stock inventory appropriately
- ensure timely, high-quality food output
- comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
- maintain professional and positive interaction with coworkers and customers
