Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepares and plates all food items to Goodwood recipes and standards
  • Visually inspects all food items coming into and leaving the kitchen
  • Ability to identify and prepare all menu items
  • Familiarity with weighing and measuring ingredients
  • Prepares food by methods of frying, sauteing, baking, boiling and other methods as needed
  • Sets up, breaks down and cleans all stations and kitchen
  • Inspect the work area to ensure the equipment is operable and sanitary
  • Adheres to local, state and federal health code and sanitation rules
  • Covers, dates and labels all food to be stored according to all health code rules
  • Ability to utilize all equipment in the kitchen and knowledge of proper cleaning methods as well
  • Assists in completing all daily duties
  • Wears proper uniform at all times while at work
