Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- ability to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
- ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- previous kitchen experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred but not required
- must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with other team members
- must be disciplined and self-motivated
- must be friendly and able to smile frequently during shifts
- must be neat, clean and professional in appearance
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternative courses of action
- adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- safely and correctly operate all equipment
- use all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control
- ensure that all products are stored properly in the correct locations at the appropriate levels at all times
- prepare and sell food that meets all food quality indicators and guest expectations
- sell food within recommended time frames
- prepare and cook all food items by recipe and to specification
- control costs by following prep sheets to ensure the freshest product and eliminate waste
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas
- maintain station cleanliness and sanitation
- clean and maintain kitchen mats, floors, walls and drains
- empty kitchen trash and maintain trash cans
- assist other team members as needed or when business dictates
- maintain a favorable working relationship with all company team members to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- be friendly and able to smile while working days, nights and/or weekends as required
