Job Requirements

  • Flexibility and availability to work nights, holidays and/or weekends
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Minimum six months of similar cooking experience preferred
  • Exceptional knife skills
  • Ability to read and execute recipes
  • Willingness to work as part of a professional kitchen team
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more stations such as pantry, pastry, pizza, wok, sauté, grill
  • At least six months experience in a similar capacity in a high-volume restaurant preferred
  • Exceptional knife skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Ability to read and execute recipes
  • Strong passion for making great food and accountability for quality dishes

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of starters, entrees, pizzas and more using a variety of kitchen equipment and techniques
  • Know and comply consistently with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service
  • Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and corresponding equipment
  • Execute proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly and according to standards
