Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two year degree or apprenticeship
  • Up to date sanitation classes
  • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in english
  • Ability to follow directions and maintain good working relationships with supervisors and managers
  • Ability to follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and properly
  • Ability to utilize the computer system and read all orders
  • Ability to prepare and present food timely
  • Ability to handle and rotate food according to established procedures
  • Ability to work closely with standard recipes and plate presentation
  • Ability to work standing for up to ten hours
  • Ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized workspace
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to cook a variety of foods using modern and classical techniques
  • Ability to work safely with cutlery

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide food as dictated by the menu, guests or management in a clean, safe and timely manner
  • Keep a clean work area and maintain a positive attitude
  • Help out wherever necessary to deliver a product that exceeds guest expectations
  • Follow company recipes and plating standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly
  • Prepare and present all foods for meal service on a timely basis
  • Work standing for up to ten hours in a kitchen environment
