Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a foodservice environment is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for cooking and guest service
  • Ability to work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Previous experience with fresh seasonal ingredients and butchery is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Ability to prep while managing orders coming in throughout the day
  • Interact with guests throughout the day showcasing passion for foodservice and dedication towards hospitality
  • Make adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
  • Act as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
  • Operate various kitchen appliances such as a blender, oven, flat top grill, or stand mixer
  • Prepare necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
  • Keep a clean tight station even under the busiest conditions
  • Estimate expected food consumption and organize preparation, fill out prep list daily
  • Add responsibilities as needed
