Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Familiarity with standard cooking methods and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to cross-train on multiple kitchen stations

Job Duties

  • Preps and stocks all items needed to assemble regular menu selections in addition to the weekly Pool Kitchen specials
  • Uses standardized recipes and presentation photos as guidelines to prepare Pool Kitchen menu items and specials
  • Cross-train on all Pool Kitchen stations including pantry, grill, flat, pizza, and prep
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves to ensure organization and easy accessibility
  • Maintains cleanliness of coolers, countertops, fryer, grill, and char-broiler daily
  • Perform utility duties when a utility staff member is not scheduled
  • Conduct self in a proper manner due to the open nature of the kitchen
