Job Requirements
- Have experience in at least one of these stations Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, Grill
- At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity in a high-volume restaurant
- Flexibility and availability to work nights, holidays, and/or weekends
- Exceptional knife skills
- Ability to read and execute recipes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to presenting quality dishes consistently
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a minimum of one station such as Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, Grill
- Preferably at least 6 months experience in a similar capacity in a high-volume restaurant
- Exceptional knife skills
- Ability to read and execute a recipe
- Ability to work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Flexibility to work nights, holidays and/or weekends
- Passion for making great food and accountability for quality dishes
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of starters, entrees, pizzas and more using a variety of kitchen equipment and techniques
- Know and comply consistently with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service
- Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and corresponding equipment
- Execute proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly and according to standards
