Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • At least two years experience in social, recreation, or healthcare settings
  • Must be at least 25 years old to drive the company vehicle
  • Valid driver’s license in the state with a clean driving record
  • Ability to organize and coordinate activities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends and part-time schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a high school diploma
  • Two years experience in social or recreation programs or similar healthcare setting experience
  • Service-related experience preferred
  • Must be 25 years or older to drive company vehicle
  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record

Job Duties

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activity programs for Memory Care, Assisted Living, or Independent Living
  • Direct and supervise all volunteers, ensuring screening and compliance with policies
  • Develop and distribute monthly activities calendars and newsletters for residents and families
  • Coordinate and schedule outside vendors and presenters ensuring appropriateness
  • Participate in community event planning with marketing staff
  • Arrange transportation for events, activities, and outings, including driving company vehicles
  • Conduct resident interviews to obtain activity suggestions and review care plans quarterly
  • Provide one-on-one visits to residents who may not participate in group activities
  • Monitor staff adherence to safety regulations in equipment and supply use
  • Report incidents of fraud, waste, or abuse to the Executive Director
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident care information
  • Promote the company positively
  • Adhere to employee handbook standards
  • Create a warm, personal, and calm community atmosphere
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
