Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably six months of supervisory experience or related experience or training
  • Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping and kneeling
  • Ability to handle merchandise and equipment such as scanners, pricing guns, and dollies
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to climb ladders occasionally
  • Ability to drive own vehicle for bank deposits and training attendance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and moderate noise environment
  • Willingness to work in occasional exposure to weather conditions and cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of safety policies and practices
  • Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations including percentages
  • Ability to perform cash register functions
  • Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably six months of supervisory experience or related training

Job Duties

  • Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
  • Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment
  • Assist in merchandising the store to attract and retain customer interest
  • Rotate product displays by company merchandising guidelines to drive sales
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
  • Ensure store condense and reset standards are consistently maintained
  • Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the handbook
  • Operate cash registers, itemize purchases, collect payments, and make change
  • Assist customers with self-checkout process at multiple register terminals
  • Perform opening and closing store duties under direction
  • Perform additional duties in the absence of Store Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader
