Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of supervisory experience or related experience or training preferred
  • Ability to perform frequent walking and standing
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop and kneel to stock merchandise and run checkout stations
  • Ability to handle merchandise and use equipment such as hand-held scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, dollies, and carts
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
  • Occasional climbing using a ladder
  • Ability to drive own vehicle to bank and training meetings
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels
  • Exposure to strong scents, outdoor weather, wet floor surfaces, and household or industrial cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of safety policies and practices
  • Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • Ability to perform cash register functions
  • Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of supervisory or related experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide superior customer service to exceed the customers expectations
  • Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment that delights customers and employees
  • Assist in merchandising the store to create appealing displays
  • Rotate product to create eye-catching displays to drive sales
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities to maintain a superior customer shopping experience
  • Ensure store condense and reset standards are maintained consistently
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Operate cash register and scanner to complete purchases and assist customers
  • Assist customers with self-checkout at multiple register terminals
  • Clean the store including trash removal, dusting, mopping floors, and cleaning restrooms and stockroom
  • Open and close the store under direction of store leadership
  • Perform additional duties as needed in absence of store leadership
