Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
  • ability to frequently walk and stand
  • ability to frequently bend, stoop and kneel
  • ability to frequently handle merchandise and equipment such as hand-held scanner, pricing guns, box cutters, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies and U-boats
  • frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds, occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds
  • occasional climbing using ladder
  • ability to drive own vehicle to the bank and attend training meetings
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise level
  • ability to tolerate exposure to strong scents and fragrances
  • occasional exposure to outside weather, wet floor surfaces, and household and industrial cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • understanding of safety policies and practices
  • ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
  • ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages
  • ability to perform cash register functions
  • knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices
  • knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control

Job Duties

  • Provide superior customer service to exceed the customer’s expectations
  • model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience
  • maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment
  • assist in merchandising the store in an appealing manner
  • rotate product to create eye-catching displays
  • complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
  • ensure store condense and reset standards are maintained
  • follow company policies and procedures
  • operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases
  • assist customers with merchandise and self-checkout processes
  • clean the store including trash removal and floor maintenance
  • open and close the store under specific direction
  • perform additional duties in management absence
