Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
- effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- understanding of safety policies and practices
- ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
- ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages
- ability to operate cash register functions
- knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and procedures
- knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- ability to perform frequent walking and standing
- frequent bending, stooping and kneeling
- frequent handling of merchandise and equipment including scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, and dollies
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 55 pounds
- occasional climbing with ladders
- ability to drive own vehicle to the bank and training meetings
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels
- exposure to strong scents, weather conditions, wet floors and cleaning solutions

Job Duties
- provide superior customer service to exceed the customer’s expectations
- model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience
- maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment that delights customers and employees
- assist in merchandising the store to create appealing displays and retain customer excitement
- rotate products to create eye-catching displays to drive sales
- complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
- ensure store condense and reset standards are maintained consistently
- follow company policies and procedures
- operate cash register and scanner to process purchases, collect payments and make change
- assist customers with self-checkout
- clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, clean restrooms and stockrooms, and set up sidewalk displays
- open and close the store under specific direction
- perform additional duties as assigned in the absence of store leaders
