Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience or related experience or training preferred
- Ability to perform frequent walking and standing
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop and kneel
- Ability to frequently handle merchandise and equipment such as scanners and pricing guns
- Ability to frequently and properly lift up to 40 pounds, occasionally up to 55 pounds
- Ability to occasionally climb using a ladder
- Ability to drive own vehicle to bank and training meetings
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels
- Ability to tolerate exposure to strong scents and fragrances
- Ability to occasionally work in outside weather conditions
- Ability to occasionally work on wet floor surfaces
- Ability to occasionally work with household and industrial cleaning solutions
Job Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Ability to perform cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
- Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance customer experience
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment
- Assist in merchandising the store to retain customer excitement
- Rotate product to create eye-catching displays to drive sales
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
- Operate cash register and assist customers with purchases
- Assist customers in self-checkout process
- Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, clean restroom and stockroom
- Help set up sidewalk displays
- Open and close the store in absence of leadership
- Perform additional duties as assigned
