Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
  • Ability to walk and stand frequently
  • Ability to bend, stoop and kneel frequently
  • Ability to handle merchandise and equipment such as scanners and pricing guns
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to occasionally climb using ladders
  • Ability to drive own vehicle for banking and training
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, moderate noise environment
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to scents, weather, wet floors, and cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of safety policies and practices
  • Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • Ability to perform cash register functions
  • Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred six months supervisory experience or related experience/training

Job Duties

  • Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
  • Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance customer experience
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized store environment
  • Assist in merchandising the store to retain customer excitement
  • Rotate product to create eye-catching displays to drive sales
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
  • Operate cash register and assist customers with purchases
  • Assist customers in self-checkout process
  • Clean the store including trash removal and stockroom maintenance
  • Open and close the store under direction
  • Perform additional duties as needed in leadership absence
