Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of supervisory experience or related experience or training preferred
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of safety policies and practices
  • Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • Ability to perform cash register functions
  • Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control

Job Duties

  • Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
  • Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance customer experience
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment
  • Assist in merchandising the store to retain customer excitement
  • Rotate product to create eye-catching displays to drive sales
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
  • Ensure store condense and reset standards are maintained consistently
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Operate cash register and scanner for purchases
  • Assist customers with self-checkout process
  • Clean the store including trash removal, dusting, mopping, and restroom maintenance
  • Open and close the store under guidance
  • Perform additional duties as required in absence of management
