Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred
  • ability to walk and stand frequently
  • ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently
  • ability to handle merchandise and store equipment
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 55 pounds occasionally
  • ability to occasionally climb using ladder
  • ability to drive own vehicle to bank and training meetings
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, moderate noise environment
  • ability to tolerate exposure to strong scents, wet floors, weather conditions, and cleaning solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • understanding of safety policies and practices
  • ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides
  • ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • ability to perform cash register functions
  • knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies
  • knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
  • high school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience or related experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
  • model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance customer experience
  • maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment
  • assist in merchandising the store with attractive displays
  • rotate products according to company merchandising guidelines
  • complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities
  • operate cash register and scanner to process transactions
  • assist customers with merchandise and self-checkout
  • open and close the store as directed
  • perform additional duties in the absence of store leadership
