Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
  • Prior experience in upscale or fine dining restaurants
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building
  • Familiarity with inventory and cost control methods
  • Valid food handling certification

  • Proven experience in a high-volume upscale dining kitchen
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu development and kitchen inventory management
  • Foster a positive and professional kitchen environment that promotes teamwork and staff development
  • Train new kitchen employees and monitor their performance
  • Assist in creating schedules and managing labor costs
