Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in non-fast food restaurant or culinary school training required
  • ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Able to perform with minimum supervision
  • Protective clothing required: slip resistant shoes
  • U.S. work authorization required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in non-fast food restaurant or culinary school training
  • ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to perform duties with minimum supervision
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Report to work on time according to posted schedule in specified uniform
  • Open/close the kitchen properly and follow the opening/closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately, review recipe modifications with Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager
  • Test food by taste testing and taking temperatures using ServSafe procedures
  • Perform food preparation and cooking skills including measuring, washing, peeling, cutting, grilling, baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, carving, and portioning foods
  • Monitor food quantities, quality and display during preparation
  • Stock work-station appropriately for each shift
  • Develop and have knowledge of the menu and ingredients
  • Date and rotate food containers, maintain perishables at proper temperatures
  • Clean workspace after each shift including sanitizing all parts of station
  • Respect co-workers and managers
  • Maintain a positive attitude and promote a fun, memorable experience for guests
  • Promote a positive perception of the company both internally and publicly
  • Perform other duties as assigned
