Job Requirements

  • Prior experience as a line cook or lead line cook
  • Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks including payroll, time management, and training
  • Ability to be a clear thinker, multi-task, remain calm, and resolve problems using good judgement
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and organize
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team by leading, motivating, engaging, and empowering team members
  • Ability to communicate with guests and other staff members
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, holidays and able to cover shifts as determined by business needs

Job Qualifications

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to oversee and supervise kitchen staff
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, supplier relationships, and supply management
  • Ensure food quality meets high standards and the kitchen remains clean, hygienic, and safe
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when the Food and Beverage Manager is absent
  • Supervise culinary team to maintain clean and compliant food prep stations
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, arranging repairs and servicing as needed
  • Perform other functions as requested by management
