Job Requirements

  • Ability to understand and follow direction from others
  • ability to read recipes and memorize and replicate food production procedures
  • ability to work in a high volume fast-paced work environment
  • skill and coordination with kitchen utensils and equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook
  • strong culinary skills with a passion for great food and hospitality
  • proven ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen environment
  • leadership experience or potential to lead kitchen staff
  • ability to memorize and replicate recipes accurately
  • familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Lead and support the line during service ensuring quality timing and consistency
  • cook and plate dishes according to recipes specs and presentation standards
  • maintain a clean and organized station at all times
  • assist with daily prep inventory rotation and restocking during and after service
  • work closely with the kitchen manager and other cooks to ensure smooth operation
  • uphold all health and safety standards including proper food handling and sanitation
  • help train and mentor junior line cooks or prep team members
  • contribute to menu development specials and tastings when needed
