Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • full-time availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends
  • ability to work shifts starting as early as 6 am
  • commitment to completing a 6-month structured training program
  • strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • 2 or more years experience as a prep or line cook
  • knowledge of food safety and quality assurance
  • associates or bachelor’s degree in culinary arts (preferred)
  • experience working in multi-faceted food service facilities such as restaurants, hotels, country clubs, conference centers, casinos or theme parks (preferred)

Job Duties

  • assist the sous chef in running the kitchen and managing employees, overseeing the operations in the absence of the sous chef
  • follow recipes and proper cooking techniques to ensure products are consistently prepared to showcase high standards and provide unique guest meals
  • educate customers and employees on products, share knowledge to offer complete meal solutions and recommend ways to prepare meal items incorporating multiple departments
  • manage employee performance by providing resources, training, feedback and development opportunities
  • support kitchen operations ensuring profitability and adherence to food safety standards
  • foster a positive team environment encouraging professional growth
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
