Job Requirements
- Two to three years of experience
- advanced cooking knowledge
- basic math skills
- written and verbal understanding of English
- must be 18 years or older
- sanitation certificate and/or serv safe license required

- prior line cooking experience
- knowledge of sauces, soups and other cooking preparations
- understanding of proper meat temperatures

- ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Carry out the policies of the department and company
- prepare food items according to specified standards
- assist in all areas of kitchen production
- help maintain proper sanitation in all areas
- help stock and rotate product
- maintain proper use, cleaning and handling of all equipment and product
- assist in any area of kitchen as needed
- ensure proper meat temperatures
- maintain kitchen and storage rotation
- ensure highest degree of sanitation at all times
- maintain proper uniform and nametag
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
- supervise the kitchen in the absence of chef or sous chef
