Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Serv-Safe Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • ability to work under supervision and lead a team
  • physical ability to move and lift foodstuffs and supplies
  • commitment to follow safety and health regulations
  • excellent communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years or more of related work experience
  • certification as a Serv-Safe Food Handler (may be acquired within 90 days of hire)
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • ability to work in fast-paced environments

Job Duties

  • supervise day-to-day activities of subordinates
  • assign responsibility for specific work or functional activities
  • maintain key control of operations including opening, closing, and daily procedures
  • monitor employee productivity and suggest improvements
  • ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and problem resolution
  • perform day-to-day assignments alongside supervision duties
  • orient and train new employees
  • clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • attend allergy and foodborne illness in-service training
  • participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments
  • receive and move foodstuffs and supplies
  • comply with safety and risk management policies
  • adhere to company policies including safety, environmental, infection control, and workplace conduct
  • maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • perform other related duties as assigned
