Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of experience in a cooking role
  • ability to follow detailed cooking instructions
  • good physical stamina for standing and moving in a kitchen environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • valid food handler's permit or certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • prepare ingredients to use in cooking including chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
  • cook food in various utensils or grillers
  • keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • check the quality of ingredients
